Catherine Therrien is a Mississauga, Ont.,-based interior decorator and multidisciplinary stylist. After graduating from Ryerson University's Fashion Communication program, she learned the ropes working as a stylist and editor at some of Canada's top magazines, such as Chatelaine, Canadian Living, Gardening Life, Canadian Gardening and, most recently, Style at Home. Here, Catherine refined her eye, honed her aesthetic and developed a passion for interior design. In 2016, she branched out to start Catherine Sophie Design – a boutique-style firm that focuses on creating warm, welcoming, livable homes for its clients. Essentially, she wants to help you discover your personal style and design a space you love. Catherine excels at mixing old with new, modern with traditional and high and low pieces together. She’s also an experienced hunter of vintage and antique furnishings. At the end of the day, she loves to work with her hands, collaborate with people and just be creative.
